Terminato il Congresso Europeo di GO del 2023 tenutosi a Markkleeberg/Lipsia, in Germania ho gironzolato sul sito dell’evento ed ho letto qualche d’intervista. Mi preme segnalare quella di Ashe Vázquez, classificatosi terzo ai Campionati Europei, che potete leggere integralmente qui, perche’ risponde cosi’ alla domanda di Jeremy Kaiser
JK: Do you have any role models?
AV: For technical play, definitely Fujisawa Shuko, he was a Japanese professional that played from the late 40s to 90s I guess. He has this very thick, patient style of play. It looks like they’re doing nothing and then in the second half of the game, the board explodes. That’s a style of play I find really appealing.
